Lifting off from the heli-pad in the Hoffnungsthal Valley, enjoy flying past the township of Lyndoch tracking right, along the western ridge of the Barossa Valley and continuing the flight towards Historic Seppeltsfield winery. Soar above and see the essence of South Australia’s viticultural heritage from an unparalleled aerial experience. Take in the stunning views of contouring vineyards and palm tree studded roads that surround the winery before travelling past Maggie Beer’s farm and Nuriootpa.

Descend in style into Paulmara Estate on the eastern side of Marananga, landing within 20m of the entrance! Here savour the unique flavours of locally produced wines, each telling a story of the Barossa’s rich winemaking tradition.

Paul and Mara combined their passion for growing quality fruit, producing fine wine and their heritages creating Paulmara Estates. It captures the union of two like minds and hearts. Here you will have the opportunity to try a large wine range, some of the varieties you may not have even heard of, while enjoying a tasting plate of local produce.

After re-boarding the helicopter we track south over head Tanunda to Lyndoch for Kies Family Wines. From our landing site directly at the entrance to Kies Family Wines Cellar door you will be introduced to the Kies Crew, who give great pleasure in guiding you through a tasting of their extensive range. Experience the craftsmanship of the Kies family, enhancing your understanding of the Barossa’s wine culture. Depending on time of year, you will get to enjoy a barrel hall tasting or winery tour, you may get to see the winery in full action crushing grapes. After you have worked up an appetite, choose your favourite wine and head to the café for a delicious 2 course lunch. Indulge in gourmet dishes that perfectly complement the hand-selected wines, reflecting the excellence of the Barossa Valley. After lunch, re-board the helicopter to continue the flight over the Whispering Wall (Barossa Reservoir), we make a left turn over the Whispering wall and fly over Rowland Flat, home of Jacob’s Creek, where some of Australia’s largest wine tanks are located – these tanks hold up to 1.4 million litres of WINE! On the northern side of Tanunda we land at Barossa Valley Chocolate Company where you can indulge in a chocolate and wine pairing experience.
